Have you ever noticed that in most porn videos the same characters keep showing up? The naughty schoolgirl, or for example the “BBC,” meaning “the big black cock”? That’s no coincidence, explains cultural sociologist Samira van Bohemen (Erasmus University) in this podcast. These stereotypes are deeply embedded in our culture. And the strange thing is: sometimes, that can actually be quite pleasurable.
